This beauty drives a new vw! She was very meticulous about his car it shows. This bug has a rust free body even at the battery tray, between body and fenders, see pictures, it was kept in her garage the whole time when it was not being driven. The entire interior is original. The original black convertible top is in excellent and condition. Also all of the original rubber weather-stripping and windows are in great shape. Any bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this beauty. It really does well on the freeway at highway speeds 70 mph no problem, even over the altamont pass. I drove this car almost 1000 miles after i bought it and would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. The previous owner had a vw specialty shop do all the maintenance on it over the 47 years she owned it. It still has the stock style exhaust system. This vw convertible is nicely equipped including working power wipers, original gauge cluster, am fm cassette stereo , dual chrome exterior side view mirrors, original taillights, seat belts, nice rubber weather-stripping, good glass with vent windows. The clean - solid - "front trunk" still retains the original cardboard covering, jack, lug wrench, full sized spare tire and original washer bottle. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really cool little vehicle. Check out the very nice original wheels, wheel covers and new steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look outstanding on this beauty and really gives it that bone stock look. The front and rear bumpers are in nice shape! This is a nice classic collector vw convertible! Tachometer✔ Bucket Seats
